  • José Cortes was a Spanish musician predominantly known for his association with Zaj. Performing alongside Hidalgo and Marchetti, he participated in the Zaj Festival 1 in 1965. The score “Musica para una pluma estilografica” (1965), presented as part of the Concierto Postal designed for the occasion, was reissued by the Edizioni Conz in 1989. In conjunction with the Zaj Festival 2 in 1967, he presented Some Actions for Foolborn Children in the courtyard of the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid.
